Privacy Policy
The short version
Color Mint does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address or phone number. Your game progress stays on your device. We use Google AdMob to show ads and Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played, and those services collect device and usage data. In-app purchases and Color Mint Plus subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play — we never see your card details.

1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how MarkMint ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the mobile game Color Mint: Water Sort (the "Game"), published on Google Play as com.mudassirmarkmint.color_sort_game and on the Apple App Store as Color Mint.
We are the data controller for the data described below. You can reach us at any time at modassirhabib9@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
You can play Color Mint without giving us any personal details. We do not run a login system, and we do not ask for your name, email, address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or precise GPS location.
The following data is collected automatically by the Game and the third-party services built into it:
| Category | Examples | Collected by |
|---|---|---|
| Device & app info | Device model, manufacturer, operating system version, screen size, language, time zone, country or region, app version, mobile network type | Google Analytics for Firebase, Google AdMob |
| Identifiers | Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iOS), a randomly generated app-instance ID, IP address (used to approximate country and then discarded or truncated by the provider) | Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase |
| Gameplay & usage | Levels started and completed, stars earned, moves used, hints used, screens opened, session length, coins earned or spent, cosmetic items unlocked, daily reward streak | Google Analytics for Firebase |
| Advertising activity | Ads shown, ad format (banner, interstitial, rewarded), taps, rewarded ads completed, ad consent choice | Google AdMob |
| Purchase & subscription records | Product purchased, purchase token or receipt, purchase date, subscription status and the date the current period ends, refund status, store country | Google Play Billing, Apple App Store |
| Diagnostics | Crash reports, error logs, performance data such as load times | Google Play / Apple, Firebase |
We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details or billing addresses. We never see them; they are handled entirely by Google or Apple.
3. Data stored on your device
Your game data is saved locally on your device using the operating system's standard app storage, and is not uploaded to us:
- Highest unlocked level and the list of completed levels
- Stars earned per level and total moves / games played
- Coin balance and unlocked bottle shapes and backgrounds
- Daily reward streak and the date of your last claim
- Sound, music and vibration settings
- Whether the tutorial has been shown, whether ads have been removed, and until when Color Mint Plus is active
Because this data lives only on your device, uninstalling the Game or clearing its storage permanently deletes your progress. We cannot restore it for you. (Remove Ads and an active Color Mint Plus subscription can be restored through the store; see section 6.)
4. Advertising
Color Mint is free to play and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob to show banner ads, full-screen ads between levels, and optional rewarded video ads that you can choose to watch in exchange for in-game coins. Watching a rewarded ad is always voluntary.
AdMob may use your advertising ID and interaction data to measure ads and, where permitted, to show you personalised ads. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy & Terms and the AdMob help centre.
Your ad choices
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: before any personalised ads are requested, we show a consent message that lets you accept or refuse. If you refuse, you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones. You can change your choice at any time from the Game's settings screen.
- On iOS: personalised ads require your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- On Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in Settings → Google → Ads.
- No ads at all: buy Remove Ads or subscribe to Color Mint Plus. Analytics still applies.
5. Analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to see which levels are too hard, where players stop playing, and which features get used. The events we record are about the game, not about you personally — for example "level 42 started" or "rewarded ad completed". We look at this data in aggregate; we do not try to identify individual players from it. Google's terms are available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
6. Purchases and subscriptions
Color Mint offers optional purchases: an auto-renewing subscription, Color Mint Plus (monthly or yearly), a one-time Remove Ads unlock, and coin packs (500, 1,500 and 4,000 coins).
All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing, depending on where you installed the Game. We do not receive, store or have access to your card number, bank details or billing address.
What the Game receives from the store is a purchase record containing the product identifier, a transaction or purchase token, the purchase date, the store country and, for Color Mint Plus, whether it is active and when the current period ends. Each time the Game starts it asks the store which purchases are still active. We use this only to:
- verify that a purchase is genuine and deliver what you paid for;
- keep Color Mint Plus active for as long as it is paid for, and switch it off when it ends;
- restore Remove Ads and Color Mint Plus if you reinstall the Game or change device;
- handle refunds and support requests; and
- meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.
This information is kept on your device; we do not run a server that stores it. We also record purchase events in analytics — which product was opened, bought, cancelled or failed, and when the subscription screen is viewed — so we can see how the shop performs. These events are not linked to your name or payment details.
Managing or cancelling a subscription is done in your App Store or Google Play account, not by us. Refunds are governed by the store's policy. Billing and renewal terms are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
7. Why we use your data
If you are in the EEA or the UK, the legal bases under the GDPR are:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the Game and saving your progress | Performance of a contract with you |
| Processing purchases and subscriptions, restoring what you paid for | Performance of a contract with you |
| Personalised advertising | Your consent |
| Non-personalised advertising | Legitimate interests (funding a free game), or consent where required |
| Analytics and product improvement | Your consent where required, otherwise legitimate interests |
| Crash reports and security | Legitimate interests (keeping the Game working and safe) |
| Tax, accounting and legal records | Compliance with a legal obligation |
8. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers. Data is shared only with the service providers that make the Game work:
- Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — AdMob advertising, Firebase analytics, Google Play Billing. Privacy Policy
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution and payments on iOS. Privacy Policy
We may also disclose data if we are legally required to do so, to enforce our Terms, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case we will give notice here before your data becomes subject to a different policy).
9. How long we keep data
- On-device game data: until you delete the Game or clear its data.
- Analytics data: retained by Google for the period configured in Firebase (up to 14 months for event-level data), then deleted or aggregated.
- Advertising data: retained by Google according to its own retention schedules.
- Purchase and subscription records: for as long as needed to provide the entitlement and to satisfy tax and accounting rules (typically up to 7 years).
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Residents of California and similar jurisdictions have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information in that sense.
You can exercise the most useful controls yourself, straight away:
- Delete everything we hold about your play: uninstall the Game, or clear its data in your device settings.
- Stop ad personalisation: reset or delete your advertising ID (Android), turn off tracking (iOS), or change your consent choice in the Game's settings.
- Cancel a subscription: in your App Store or Google Play account.
- Stop analytics: uninstall the Game, or opt out where the settings screen offers it.
For anything else, email modassirhabib9@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Because we cannot identify you from the data we hold, we may need details such as your advertising ID or a purchase receipt to locate any records.
11. Children
Color Mint is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and the UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it. Parents can restrict in-app purchases and subscriptions using the parental controls in Google Play and the App Store, including requiring approval for every purchase.
12. International transfers
We operate from Pakistan, and our service providers process data on servers in the United States, the European Union and elsewhere. Where data from the EEA or the UK is transferred outside those regions, our providers rely on legal transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
13. Security
Data in transit between the Game and our providers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Game data on your device is protected by your operating system's app sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we do keep the amount of personal data we handle deliberately small.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game changes or the law does. The "Effective date" at the top will change, and material changes will be announced in the Game or in the store listing before they take effect. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
